FILM
Owner and President, Carlton Brown has worked on numerous independent film projects in New York and Chicago. As a graduate of New York's Center for the Media Arts in 1988 for television production, Carlton continued his studies at several film workshops offered at New York University before moving to Chicago in 1993. Several years ago he was the Associate Producer and 2nd Unit Director of Photography on the critically acclaimed independent film "Lana's Rain". Carlton was involved in many areas on the set of Lana's Rain, with its limited budget he was responsible for many aspects of the film, producing, photography, set builder and including shooting of the behind the scenes footage. In 2009 he is once again honing his skills as producer on a still untitled upcoming horror film to be filmed in New Mexico in the spring of 2010.
TELEVISION
During his career, Carlton has filmed many commercials and television shows, within the last year he has worked on 2 PBS TV series “The Fairway Gourmet” and “Biz Kids”, he also worked as a sound-man on a new A&E reality series “Female Forces”. Carlton was the director of photography for some of these commercials represented on this page, but the final productions were not produced by Total Vision Video, Inc.
